Why are my teeth small?
Small or worn teeth are caused by a clenching and grinding habit, called bruxism. Small teeth can feel painful, due to exposed dentin, and can cause problems with chewing and normal jaw function, called TMJ.
TMJ, or TMJ disorders, are characterized by jaw pain, swelling, and clicking or popping joints.
Bruxism occurs for a number of reasons:
- A misaligned bite
- Certain drugs or medications
- Alcohol use
- Past trauma
We can restore proper jaw function by rebuilding and balancing your bite using high-quality, durable tooth-colored restorations. Full smile makeovers, also known as full mouth rehabilitation, are designed to give you your smile back – both in function and the appearance.
By combining a number of restorative treatments, our expert dentists will rebuild your smile using your remaining tooth structure as the foundation, whenever possible.
Dental crowns – Rebuild the posterior teeth
Porcelain veneers – Rebuild your front teeth
Dental implants – Replace missing teeth
